Stanley & Julie Buxa Nursing Scholarship

Fund Background: The Stanley and Julie Buxa Nursing Scholarship was established with a gift from the estate of Julie Buxa from Harvey. This permanently endowed scholarship supports North Dakotans pursuing a nursing education. Julie was born and raised in Harvey. She earned a nursing degree from the University of North Dakota and worked as a nurse for Trinity Medical Center in Minot and later at St. Aloisius Medical Center in Harvey. Julie also served as a nursing instructor in Minot and Harvey. As a permanently endowed fund, this scholarship will honor Julie's commitment to nursing education forever.
